Artist Doreen Doherty

Throughout her life, Canadian artist Doreen Doherty has had a passion for all things artistic. She has applied her creativity to many pursuits over the years, including working as a full-time graphic and layout design artist producing magazines, newsletters, pamphlets, etc. for 17 years.

In 1999 when was away from her full-time job and spending time at home with her children, she turned her talents to watercolor paintings. Doreen quickly developed a love and passion for this particular type of artistic expression and through the ensuing years has created well in excess of 100 watercolour paintings.

Doreen's paintings have been showcased in numerous art shows and exhibitions. Her paintings hang in homes and offices across Canada, as well as in the United States, Great Britain and Australia. Some of her artwork has been made into limited edition prints or used to create Christmas and other greeting cards, primarily for use by various corporate clients who appreciate the creativity and originality of her artwork.

Doreen has two adult children.
